Cristiano Ronaldo’s club are close to signing Chelsea player, the Blues want £33m

Despite the transfer window being closed, it looks as if Chelsea’s immediate business is not yet done.

The Blues saw mass change in their squad again this summer, with a number of new players coming through the door at Stamford Bridge.

The likes of Pedro Neto, Joao Felix and Jadon Sancho have all been brought in to bring strength in depth in what is going to be a long season.

Chelsea did move on a number of players this summer, however will have been disappointed that they couldn’t get more outgoings confirmed on deadline day.

Reports have stated though that they could make the most of the Saudi transfer window still being open, with Angelo Gabriel linked with a move away.

Al-Nassr want Chelsea’s Angelo Gabriel

Journalist Vene Casagrande has claimed that Al Nassr have made a number of offers to sign the Chelsea youngster, with the Blues holding out for a fee of £33m.

He said on Instagram: “Created by Santos, Ângelo is close to moving to Al Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo’s club. The Arab team’s idea is for the 19-year-old striker to fill the last U21 foreign vacancy.

“Al Nassr offered Chelsea 25 million euros, which was rejected. The Saudi Arabians went up to 30 million euros, but the English team wants 40 million euros. Negotiations are ongoing.

“Ângelo played for Strasbourg, in France, on loan last season.”

Chelsea were keen to sell Angelo

Angelo has a strong bond with Andrey Santos, another young Brazilian who has already left the club this summer to complete another loan spell at Strasbourg,

It was reported earlier this summer that the Blues were keen to sell Angelo permanently, however he didn’t move in the time that the transfer window was open for the Blues.

The Saudi transfer window shuts tonight, meaning that time is running out to see if Cristiano Ronaldo’s side can close a deal with the Blues for the winger, who it is fair to say is a long way off the first team at Stamford Bridge.
