Good Omens star Michael Sheen has teased the ending of the third and final season, hoping that it gives fans everything they want.
The actor, who plays Aziraphale in the Prime Video TV series, spoke to TV Insider and said that he couldn’t go into specifics as the cameras haven’t started rolling, but is eager to get started on new episodes.
“It’s still in development, but obviously I’m very excited to work with David [Tennant] again, and I love that character. I’m very excited about it,” he said.

“One of the extraordinary things about being a part of [Good Omens] is the audience, the fans, the fandom of it. You have to take it very seriously because people get really affected by it,” Sheen added.
“And seeing how people reacted to the end of season 2 was extraordinary. So yeah, I hope, and I’m sure, that season 3 will be a satisfying experience for everyone.”
The finale of Good Omens season 2 saw Aziraphale and Crowley finally admitting their love for each other and sharing a kiss.
However, their happiness didn’t last long as Aziraphale insisted they both go to Heaven together, something that Crowley refused to do.

The duo ended the season apart and in their feelings, while the threat of apocalypse is once again rearing its ugly head.
Earlier this year, Neil Gaiman revealed that filming on Good Omens season 3 won’t commence until January 2025.
Meanwhile, Sheen can be seen on our screens next month in A Very Royal Scandal, a new take on the Prince Andrew and Emily Maitlis interview.
Sheen will star as the disgraced Royal, while Ruth Wilson will play Maitlis.
Good Omens seasons 1 and 2 are streaming now on Prime Video.
