Update: Wind advisory for Oregon Lower Treasure Valley until early Wednesday morning


On Tuesday at 12:35 p.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated wind advisory valid from 7 p.m. until Wednesday 5 a.m. for Oregon Lower Treasure Valley.

“Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected,” describes the weather service. “Visibilities may be locally reduced in blowing dust.”

“Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” says the weather service. “Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.”
