Boxer Ryan Garcia reveals son’s birth before announcing divorce to wife

Pro Boxer Ryan Garcia revealed the birth of his first son — then simultaneously announced his impending divorce from his supermodel wife of four years on Friday night.

In an Instagram post on Garcia’s account, the former WBC interim lightweight champion welcomed his son Henry Leo into the world, whom he shares with his wife Andrea Celina.

“Praise the lord. I am so thankful, I love him so much already. He is so fast already haha. Took him just 8 min to arrive,” Garcia wrote along with a picture of baby Henry.

“He will be ten times stronger, ten times wise, ten times better looking but he will need to work ten times harder.”

The 25-year-old boxer then posted that he and Celina seemingly “decided to divorce.”

The couple has been together since 2019 and officially tied the knot in 2021.

“As I step into a new chapter in my life, it’s with a heavy heart to share that Drea and I have decided to divorce,” Garcia said in a now-deleted Instagram post shared by TMZ.

“While this decision marks the end of our marriage, it’s important to emphasize that our relationship as co-parents remains our top priority.”

The young boxer, who now shares two children with Celina, called her an “incredible partner and an even more extraordinary mother” in the breakup post.

“I’m deeply grateful for the years we shared and for her unwavering commitment to our family,” Garcia shared.

Around 12 hours after breaking the news of the divorce, Garcia deleted the post from his page.

Celina has yet to address the divorce publicly but cryptically shared posts on her Instagram story, including one that was a screenshot of Eminem’s song “Love the Way You Lie,” according to TMZ.

Garcia, nicknamed “King Ry,” has amassed a 24-1 record with 20 knockouts — his one loss came against Gervonta Davis in April 2023.

Since making his professional debut at 17 years old, Garcia has quickly become one of the fastest-rising stars in the boxing world.

The day after announcing the birth of his son, Garcia was called out by lightweight boxer Devin Haney, as rumors of a title fight in spring between the two have been making the rounds.

“I’ve notified my team I’m going a different route,” Garcia posted on X Saturday. “My intent now is to fight Rolando Romero.”

Following the announcement, Haney, 25 — who holds a 31-0 record with 15 knockouts — replied to Garcia’s post with his thoughts on him fighting Romero.

“Don’t ever mention my name pu–y boi,” the recent WBC World Super Lightweight champ wrote.
